An immersive experience in Gurmat Kirtan with Guru Kaur

ABOUT THE PROJECT
 BeSound presents the 8th edition of the Sunniai Kirtans.
This year, we especially invite teachers and students from the second year onward, who are members of the Naad Yoga Council, to actively participate in one of these sacred sound gatherings.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Active participation in the preparation and performance of the Gurmat Kirtan  
  • Online preparation session with the person leading the event
  • In-person rehearsal before the event
  • Accommodation during your stay at BeSound

Accommodation
 Participants will be hosted at BeSound (Sils, Girona, Spain).
To support the educational value of this experience, the Naad Yoga Council will cover accommodation and meals.
Travel and transportation costs are the responsibility of each participant.
You can fly into Barcelona or Girona and reach BeSound easily by train.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Members of the Naad Yoga Council  
  • Individuals who have completed the NYTT or are currently enrolled in at least their second year

SELECTION CRITERIA

Applicants must:

  • Be active members of the Naad Yoga Council  
  • Have completed the NYTT or be in at least their second year
  • Be available for both online and in-person preparation
  • Agree to cover their own travel and transportation costs

Additional criteria that will be positively valued:

  • At least one year of membership in the NYC  
  • Previous volunteer contributions to NYC events (e.g., support, coordination, promotion)
  • A clear and sincere motivation letter
  • A creative proposal for reflecting on or documenting the experience (e.g., short video, written piece, social media content)

  • Call for applications published: September 15, 2025
  • Deadline to complete the form: October 20, 2025
  • Review of applications: October 21–31, 2025
  • Notification of selected participants: November 4, 2025
